Tayte French Lutz at the More Than Manufacturing Expo

Making Conscious the Unconscious Bias Panel

The “Making Conscious the Unconscious Bias” Panel was moderated by Elise Ring, featuring panelists Tayte French Lutz, Angie Pettinger, Genalou Poage, and Tayte French Lutz.

The discussion focused on the role of women in the manufacturing industry and the unconscious bias they face in the workplace. According to CBT:

“Women occupy only one-third of the manufacturing jobs in the US and of those, only 1 in 4 are leadership roles. As these numbers continue to increase, women are starting to see a place for themselves in manufacturing; but navigating this traditionally male-dominated field can sometimes feel like a lonely journey.”

CBT’s More Than MFG Expo is one of America’s largest gatherings of manufacturing experts. The two-day, trade-only event provides an incredible educational and networking opportunity for those within the manufacturing industry.
