Our machine tools span from manual to computerized machining centers, offering capabilities such as boring, turning, milling, grinding, drilling, and key seating. In March 2017, we invested in three new CNC machine tools—a bridge mill, a vertical turning lathe, and a horizontal machining center—expanding our machining capacity. In 2023, we saw an addition of two more machines tools, highlighting our dedication to forward progress.
With crane capacities of 30 tons and hook clearances of 23 feet, we offer versatile solutions, covering everything from machining and fabrication to final assembly.

Project Management and Proofing
French assigns a dedicated Project Manager to oversee each new order, serving as a single, knowledgeable point of contact for directing schedules, approval drawings, manuals, and addressing any queries. Our selection of Project Managers is based on their expertise in the specific machinery involved in your order. If desired, we can provide Gantt charts to track progress throughout the project.
Our engineers at French employ FEA (finite-element analysis) software and field laser-alignment equipment data to validate machinery designs. Furthermore, they regularly conduct energy studies aimed at reducing operational costs from a utility perspective.
Using models generated in our SolidWorks and CAD software, we import them into advanced FEA software to conduct linear static analyses. Thermal, vibration, and non-linear analyses are also available. Our engineers conduct practical laser alignment experiments within customers' facilities. These experiments yield valuable data on part deflections and validate our engineering analyses.
When creating deflection plots for our parts, our engineers deliberately exaggerate deflections as part of their analysis to visualize how the part behaves under real-world loading conditions. We leverage this data to ensure that our parts perform effectively under demanding loading conditions while also optimizing weight and cost.
