What We Are Bringing to the Floor at AOCS
We have been building oilseed processing machinery since 1900, and some of the work coming out of our engineering group right now is worth a conversation. A few things we will be ready to talk about at the booth:
Full-press corn germ running 24/7. We have a customer line achieving continuous around-the-clock operation with lower residual oil in the press cake than competitive systems, even with wet corn germ, which is one of the more difficult materials to press efficiently.
Reducing oil degradation at the source. Integration of variable speed drives and water-cooled cage shafts is giving processors more control over temperature and mechanical stress during extraction. The result is better oil quality coming off the press.
Custom screw and feeder configurations. Not every oil-bearing material behaves the same way. We engineer screw profiles and feeder assemblies around the specific material and throughput requirements of each operation, whether that is soybean, linseed, palm kernel, or something less common.
