From October 10th through the 13th, our team will join the best and brightest in the industry to exhibit at the International Elastomer Conference, to be held in the Knoxville Convention Center.
There, you’ll have the opportunity to forge connections with suppliers and clients, share knowledge, hear from industry-leading guest speakers and panel experts, and discover new products and technologies.

What Is the International Elastomer Conference?
The International Elastomer Conference is hosted by the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS). It’s the one event this year where you can find all of the top minds in the industry gathered in a single place.
The four-day event spans from Monday, October 10th to Thursday, October 13th. Each day will include opportunities to walk the expo floor, listen to keynote speakers, attend courses, dine with industry cohorts, meet with promising students, and much more.
The conference is split into three main components:
#1 Learning
- Expo – From Tuesday to Thursday, the expo hall will open its doors to the industry’s top customers and suppliers. Featured exhibitors include:
- Equipment manufacturers
- Injection molders
- Extruders
- Custom mixers
- Processing equipment
- Hydraulic presses
- Vacuum molding
- Testing labs
- Technical meetings – Technical meetings are multi-hour breakout sessions led by industry experts on a variety of unique topics, ranging from new commercial developments to the aging and degradation of rubber to elastomers in infrastructure.
- Student Symposium – The symposium is a platform for Undergraduate and Graduate students in rubber/polymer chemistry and engineering programs to share their research, network with potential employers, and compete for prizes.
- Women’s Workshop – Women of Rubber Division (WORD) is a workshop program that brings women within the industry together. It’s led by the President of Electric Impulse Communications, Leslie Ungar, and Tamsin Astor, PhD, Chief Habit Scientist, international speaker, and acclaimed Author.
#2 Networking
While the entire event represents a networking opportunity, there are several events geared specifically toward meeting other industry professionals. Some of the features include:
