French Exhibiting at the CAMX Expo

The Composite and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) is coming to Anaheim this month.

Will you be attending?

From October 17th to the 20th, The French Oil Mill Machinery Company and TMP, A Division of French, alongside hundreds of other innovative suppliers in the composites and advanced materials communities, will attend the event and host a booth on the expo floor.

At the event, you can network with suppliers, listen to speakers, attend breakout sessions, and, of course, walk the exhibition floor. This year, we’ll be showcasing our French and TMP composite presses. We invite you to come swap knowledge and technical expertise with our team at booth T28.

What is CAMX?

CAMX is where industry leaders go to make deals, meet new contacts, and discover all kinds of new products and technologies. It gathers R&D, engineering, manufacturing, service providers, and end-users all under one roof.

This annual event was first established by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) in 2018.

The stated purpose of the CAMX event is to:

“…connect and advance all aspects of the world’s composites and advanced materials communities; to replace the materials of yesterday with more cost-efficient, high-performance composites that can form a brighter future.”

This year, CAMX will take place from Monday, October 16th to Thursday the 20th. The event will include:

  • Keynote – Michael Steep, teacher, author, and business leader, will present on Supply Chain and the Role of Composites and Advanced Materials. He’ll discuss how forward-thinking companies can turn the COVID supply chain disruption into potential opportunities.
  • Featured Sessions – Industry experts talk to all conference attendees about the industry’s hottest topics, trends, and technological advances. Some highlights include:
        • The Journey of NASA Technology to Commercial Viability
        • How Materials and Design Enable Future Transportation
        • Outlook for Sustainability in Composite Manufacturing
  • Good Day, CAMX – Re:Build Manufacturing will host a morning panel discussion between Miles Arnone, Chief Executive Officer of Re:Build; Jay Wakenshaw, Chief Operating Officer of Elroy Air; and Jonathan Sourkes, Head of Sales of Aero SBU, Victrex—with moderator Marcy Offner from Composites One.
  • Technical papers – Attend technical 25-minute presentations, including formal, peer-reviewed research papers, on advancements in composites manufacturing, product design, and materials engineering.
  • Education Sessions – Guests can attend any number of 55-minute sessions presented as panels, lectures, and discussions about best practices, issue reviews, and case studies.
  • Expo Floor – The expo floor features live process materials, material exhibits, and interactive displays on the future of composites and advanced materials. It’s an opportunity to meet and learn from hundreds of the world’s top manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
