Chief Executive Officer of McGregor Metal Elected to The French Oil Mill Machinery Company Board

French Oil Mill Machinery Company, the nation’s premier manufacturer of hydraulic presses, oilseed and polymer equipment, has added another accomplished magnate to its esteemed Board of Directors. During the June board meeting, Jamie McGregor, CEO of McGregor Metal LLC, was unanimously appointed to the French executive board.

“Jamie embodies many of the qualities that French values in its strategic leaders,” said company Chairman and CEO, Daniel French, “As a businessman, philanthropist, civic leader, and patron of the arts, he has successfully spearheaded an array of bold initiatives in the Dayton area and beyond. We’re thrilled to have him join the board and excited to see the impact he’ll have on the company’s future direction.”

Today, Jamie serves as the CEO of McGregor Metal in Springfield, Ohio. Founded in 1965, the third-generation, family-owned, metalworking business is focused on stamping, welding, machining—and everything in between. As CEO, he’s responsible for the implementation of McGregor’s short and long-term strategies, based on the company’s shared mission and vision.

In addition to serving on the board of McGregor Metal, Jamie is the Chairman of the Springfield Museum of Art’s capital campaign, the former President of the Museum’s Board of Trustees, a Trustee of the Dayton Children’s Hospital, a Director of the Second Harvest Food Bank, and a Board Member of Bon Secours Mercy Health. He has also led several fundraising campaigns for a variety of non-profit institutions, such as The Springfield Arts Council, The Rocking Horse Center, Dayton Children’s Hospital, and the Springfield Museum of Art.
