Oilseed pilot scale roller mills from French are designed to produce the same results as full production units. However, they offer greater adjustments to test a wide variety of incoming materials with an array of operating parameters.
The rolls for both machines offer the same diameter as larger mills to reproduce the same “nip” angle, which is important when scaling for production requirements. Each machine also includes the ability to electronically change individual roll speeds to test various speed differentials and throughputs.
